The privacy-first firearm collection tracker for iPhone, iPad, and Mac. Built by East Valley Tactical.
EVT App is a native iOS, iPadOS, and macOS application that helps firearm owners keep a private, organized record of their collection — what they own, when they bought it, where it's stored, how often they shoot it, and how each firearm is performing over time.
The app is published by East Valley Tactical, an Arizona- based Federal Firearms Licensee (FFL) and silencer dealer. EVT App is provided as a free tool for the firearms community; it is not required to be a customer of East Valley Tactical to use it.
Track make, model, caliber, serial number, barrel length, optic, accessories, and storage location for every firearm, silencer, or accessory you own.
Record range days, training, hunts, and competitions — rounds fired, ammo used, location, instructor, and any malfunctions encountered.
Per-firearm reliability data computed from your range log — mean rounds between malfunctions, best-performing ammunition, and trend over time.
Store tax stamps and trust documentation alongside each NFA item. Approval dates extract automatically from PDF stamps via on-device OCR.
Record purchase cost per item with optional receipt upload. On-device OCR pulls the date and total off the receipt and offers them as suggestions.
Optional usage-based or time-based cleaning reminders per firearm. Optic battery replacement intervals supported separately.
EVT App is built for an audience that takes data privacy seriously. None of your collection data is collected, transmitted, or stored on East Valley Tactical's servers or anywhere else under our control. Your data lives only on your devices, and optionally syncs between them via your personal iCloud account.
EVT App supports an optional feature where you can back up your collection to a folder in your personal Google Drive account. This is the only feature in the app that touches Google services, and it is entirely opt-in.
When you choose to enable it, the app uploads a single JSON file containing your collection to a folder in your own Google Drive. The transfer happens directly between your device and Google's servers using your own Google credentials. East Valley Tactical never receives this data and has no access to it.
EVT App's use of Google API Services User Data complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. EVT App does not retain, transmit, share, or use Google user data for any purpose other than backing up and restoring your collection on your own behalf.
Full details, including the specific Google Drive scope requested, are in the Privacy Policy.
EVT App runs on iPhone, iPad, and Mac. iOS 17 or later required. macOS 14 or later required.
